Default What if Kane Hodder played "fast-Jason"

Been reviewing the Friday the 13th series lately; currently I have up to part VII (Plus Freddy vs. Jason and the reboot) in my collection and honestly, though VII ain't as good as I remember Kane Hodder still makes one KICK-ASS Jason!

One thing I got to wondering is... what if Hodder played Jason in the older ones? The living Jason who ran like a mo-fo and was still a die-hard though not yet "unkillable". Not really a mind-bending question but definitely one that makes me wonder about how big-old Kane would look in the classic films!

...Also, who would the killer be in part V? If l'il Roy Burns tried replacing the huge Kane-Hodder-Jason, Tommy Jarvis would probably figure out what was going on a good bit earlier XD

----

"JASON! ...Wait, you're not Jason, Jason's like 7 feet tall..."

*Snaps out of his BSOD in order to swiftly kung-fu Roy and hand his ass to the cops*

If kane hodder played fast jason there would be an awesome generated so intense that it would cause a time paradox and destroy the space time continuum...in other words it would be really cool.

To answer your question... I think Kane Hodder would have been a great Jason had he been in the previous movies. I didn't know how I felt about a 'fast Jason' and to be honest, I am still indifferent. A 'fast Jason' is more threatening and more intense but at the same time, I fell that a 'slow Jason' is more realistic and frightening. The original Jason could walk slowly but still manage to be everywhere and catch up to you. Either way, Kane Hodder has been a pretty damn good Jason.

I agree and for me Kane's best role was on Hardbodies. I just picked up the Hardbodies DVD and didn't realize that Kane Hodder was in it. He plays one of the geeks in the group of scumbags that shows up at the beach (he also does the jetski stunt and the falling motorcycle stunt). I happened to catch his name in the credits, so I had to go back and look...holy crow...he looks RIDICULOUS with his pants hiked up real high. If you haven't seen it, you need to check it out. You'll probably never see him in a role like this again...hahaha.
